About Me

I am a registered, board-certified art therapist and professional counselor licensed in Connecticut and Pennsylvania. I specialize in working with individuals who struggle with eating disorders, trauma, depression and anxiety. While not all of my clients use art making in session, I have found that when it is hard to talk about pain, a picture is worth a thousand words. Art psychotherapy requires no skill or artistic background, and can offer you a chance to express yourself in a new and transformative way.

what is art psychotherapy?

Art therapy has the unique ability to unlock emotional expression by facilitating non-verbal communication. This is especially useful in cases where traditional psychotherapy has been ineffectual (AATA, 2016).

As surely as there is a voyage away,
there is a journey home.
